Kenneth Jay Lane KJL Earrings Clip-On Gold-Plated Faux Pearls Signed
Here we have a glamorous pair of Kenneth Jay Lane KJL earrings, clip-on style, created with large, faux, Mabé pearl centers, 3, dangling, faux pearls, in a swirling, gold-plated setting. The earrings are signed on the back "KENNETH©LANE" in an oval cartouche. These were most likely made sometime in the 1990s. They are in excellent condition and deemed to be authentic. Très chic!

Kenneth Jay Lane was one of the great, costume jewelry designers of the 20th century. He was originally, a shoe designer for Christian Dior. He later became a costume jewelry designer in 1963 and was a darling of the famous such as actress Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis and the Duchess of Windsor. He was known for his "Fabulous Fakes" referring to his rich looking costume jewelry.
