Vintage Lichte Cobalt Blue & Gold Porcelain Tea Service for 2, Made in GDR

This is a 6 piece set of service for 2 made by Lichte in East Germany (GDR) in the 1960s called Echt Kobalt. The set includes 2 7.5" Dessert Plates, 2 5.75" Saucers, and 2 Cups. The mouth of the cups has a diameter of 3.5" and they stand at approximately 3.18". They are a magnificent cobalt blue with gilt gold trimming and detail. All the pieces have a matching pattern, but one cup.

The overall condition of the pieces is good. There is some fading of the gilding and some small scratches that I have photo''d for you, but this set is strikingly unique and robust in color.
