Rare Mellor & Co. stamped ironstone pitcher with embossed flower on both sides and a raised thumb hold on the handle from the early mid 1800''s era. It measures 9" tall, 9" across the handle to the spout, 8" wide at the belly and about 6 1/2" deep. Three quarts fill it to the rim. It has some discoloration and glazing imperfections due to its hand-crafted nature and age. There are a couple chips and a crack that does not leak. Overall not so bad considering it’s over 130 years old. All flaws are pictured. Beautiful soft creamy white color, shabby chic or country antique display piece. Will be shipped priority and padded well.
